A tuition-free public charter school for under-credited students, HHPACS is designed for students under the age of 21 who have not been able to previously finish high school. Many of the students at HHPACS have had to overcome great personal struggle, including challenges such as homelessness, teen parenting and even being in the legal system. The program provides individualized support to each of these students in many ways.

While students are required to attend three hours of in-person learning each day, the flexible schedule and blended learning model allows students to move through the curriculum at their own pace and attend classes during either the morning, afternoon or evening session while finishing the rest of their work online.

Workshops, ongoing development and face-to-face tutoring are available to aid students in reaching required academic benchmarks ensuring students are prepared for life after high school.

The incredibly successful graduation rate this year is also made possible through the school's partnership with local organizations and local traditional public schools. Together, HHPACS and its partners work to identify students that will thrive in a blended school and then provide services inside and outside of the classroom to help them succeed.

"I never thought I would finish school," said Jasmine Guest, a HHPACS student who will also address her peers at the ceremony, "Walking across the stage at my high school graduation is a dream come true and it means so much to me and my family."
