iQ Academy California-Los Angeles (iQLA), a full-time online public charter school, is currently accepting enrollment applications for Los Angeles-area students in kindergarten through 12th grade. iQLA is open to students who reside in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.

Operating since 2010, iQLA helps students become independent, self-motivated learners, as they are able to learn at their own pace, explore their interests and achieve their academic potential.

California-credentialed teachers guide students through individualized learning plans and work with families to accommodate and nurture different learning styles. Understanding that students need support in many ways to be successful, iQLA also provides a weekly social-emotional educational program which teaches value-based learning.

“Each of our students at iQ Academy has a unique set of interests, which is why our team of dedicated teachers works to ensure every student receives an individualized learning plan tailored to their specific needs,” said Cathy Andrew, head of school at iQLA.

iQLA offers opportunities for students to connect with the community through age-appropriate service learning at all grade levels, as well as outings to museums, roller- and ice-skating parks, local zoos and other interesting sites to help create real connections within the school community.

At the high school level, students can get an advantage for the future by earning college credits through concurrent enrollment available in partnership with local colleges.

Families are invited to attend in-person and online information sessions to hear more about the school, ask questions and meet teachers, parents and students currently enrolled at iQLA. For more information, visit http://losangeles.iqacademy.com.
